The Indian Express reported that the Rohini Court Bar Association had issued a notice stating that non-lawyers — clerks, litigants and members of the public — may not wear the white shirt and black trousers associated with advocates on the court premises. It also required advocates' clerks to carry authorised identity cards and changed parking arrangements, to stop touts posing as lawyers.

Advocate Pravesh Dabas, who practises regularly at Rohini Court, called it a pragmatic step, saying litigants had been defrauded by people dressed as lawyers, and that the step could also help security on court premises.
